Every Thursday is Quiz Night - Starts 9:00 pm Thursday nights at Longton VM are synonymous with fun, excitement, and a battle of wits at our famous quiz night! Join us for an evening filled with general knowledge, music, and a dash of sporty trivia, all hosted by our brilliant quiz master, Andrew. The quiz kicks off at 9:00 pm, so make sure to head down early to secure a table. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and with our popularity, early arrival is essential to guarantee your spot. Longton VM proudly boasts the best pub quiz in the Longton area. Our questions are crafted to be just tricky enough to challenge your general knowledge, keeping you on your toes, yet with a few thrown in that everyone can enjoy answering. Whether you come as part of a seasoned quiz team or as an individual looking to join a group, there's a place for everyone here. Quiz Night - Every Thursday - Starts 9.00 pm

Friday 12 December Christmas Bingo Night Join us for a festive evening of fun and prizes at our Special Christmas Bingo Night! Sunday 30 November Longton Winter Wonderland Step into the festive magic of Longton Winter Wonderland—a seasonal twist on Longton Live, filled with Christmas sparkle and joyful activities. The village will come alive with stalls and entertainment across various venues, all building up to the grand Christmas Lights switch-on near St Andrew’s Church at 4:00pm, accompanied by festive singing from the beloved Longton VM Choir. The fun begins at 11:00am at Longton VM, the starting point of the enchanting Elf Trail. Pick up your entry sheet and explore the village in search of mischievous elves hiding in local spots. Along the way, enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities hosted by the Club, including Going Potty, table football, table bowls, Splat the Elf, and even axe throwing for the brave- hearted! Adults can relax and soak up the festive atmosphere with mulled wine from the bar, alongside delicious cakes, mince pies, and warming hot drinks served from the kitchen. It’s a perfect day out for all ages—come celebrate the season and make magical memories in Longton.

Wednesday 17 December Christmas Choir Night Join Katy Bradley and the LVM Choir for their annual Christmas Concert, Katy & the LVM Choir will fill you with Christmas joy through songs, carols and laughter. The LVM Choir Christmas concerts are always a treat with access to a well stocked bar and nibbles provided by our choir members. Wednesday 17th December, 7.30pm. Doors and bar open from 7pm.
