Join us for an evening filled with general knowledge, music, and a dash of sporty trivia, all hosted by our brilliant quiz master, Andrew. The quiz kicks off at 9:00 pm, so make sure to head down early to secure a table. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and with our popularity, early arrival is essential to guarantee your spot. Longton VM proudly boasts the best pub quiz in the Longton area. Our questions are crafted to be just tricky enough to challenge your general knowledge, keeping you on your toes, yet with a few thrown in that everyone can enjoy answering. Sat 26 September - The Yard Dogs A Lancashire band who first played together in the 1960s before officially creating the group in 2000. Over the years, the band has grown featuring guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and saxophone contributing to their lively sound. Their music blends rock, soul and blues, making them a popular act across the North West. The Yard Dogs have toured widely, performing in the Lake District, Devon and numerous Lancashire venues, including the Longton Live festival near Preston. Their longevity and strong local following reflect a shared passion for music that has carried them through five decades of performing together
