So you can get set for a bumper weekend of live music and entertainment when Longton Live! lights up the village. The very best of local musical talent will perform at 15 venues across the Longton over Friday and Saturday, 26 and 27 June. This year’s event sees an incredible line-up of music including pop, rock, punk, acoustic, R&B, soul, reggae, 1920s, French café music, gospel and jazz. There’s also choirs, a saxophonist, and a barbershop harmony ensemble for crowds to enjoy. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s not just about the music, with dance, magic, comedy, drama and poetry performances to look forward to too. Wristbands, costing £6, give you entry to all the venues for all performances. Under 12s go free. They are on sale now A percentage of wristband sales sold by us goes towards maintaining Longton VM so please support us.

Please Note: When you buy your tickets through Longton VM, we earn a percentage of every sale — a vital boost for us in these challenging times. Friday 26th entertainment will be 7.00-11.00pm as normal, but Saturday will be 5.00-9.00pm to accommodate the England v Panama match at 10.00pm, which will be shown on our big screen in the main lounge, with a “Club Happy Hour” from 9.00pm till kick-off. Street food will also be available outside on the Saturday. Entry for Saturday`s programme will be restricted to 150 people, and the bar has extended hours. Thank You
