So you can get set for a bumper weekend of live music and entertainment when Longton Live! lights up the village. The very best of local musical talent will perform at 15 venues across the Longton over Friday and Saturday, 14 and 15 July. This year’s event sees an incredible line-up of music including pop, rock, punk, acoustic, R&B, soul, reggae, 1920s, French café music, gospel and jazz. There’s also choirs, a saxophonist, and a barbershop harmony ensemble for crowds to enjoy. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s not just about the music, with dance, magic, comedy, drama and poetry performances to look forward to too. Wristbands, costing £5, give you entry to all the venues for all performances. Under 12s go free. They are on sale now A percentage of wristband sales sold by us goes towards maintaining Longton VM so please support us.
